The Merry Cocker
The breeds name comes from it's original function which was to hunt Woodcock.
This variety of Spaniel was not a recognised breed until 1893 known as land Spaniels which were breed together and classified in breeding depending on there size and colouring. #workingcockerspaniel #cockerspaniellove
General Appearance: Merry, Sporty, Well balanced and compact. Measuring approximately the same from wither to ground as from wither to root of tail.
Ever wagging tail and merry appearance and nature, fearless through heavy cover especially when on a scent. Full of life and exuberance yet gentle and affectionate.
